Think over the past day or two I’ve pointed out why Allen to Edmonton doesn’t work and yet keeps coming up from only habs fans. Let’s try this again and be sensible and logical with any responses.
Smith is signed with Edmonton next year and skinner will require waivers to be sent down next year which will not happen so that means Edmonton would pay assets to bring in a guy who is absolutely destined to be put on waivers. If he was on the final year of his deal I’m sure Edmonton would have made a push a month ago but that extra year is a problem not a solution. No thanks let’s move on from this idea. Haha

This is one of the very few MTL archairs that don't have the value very far off. Most of the trades make sense but probably doubtful this many trades would be made.

Blues decline. Armstrong is literally quoted in a Athletic article that he doesn't see himself going after high price rentals. Second we also have no cap space and would need to get rid of Scandella for any trade to happen.

Armia might be worth a fourth and Kulak might be worth a fifth, but not to Los Angeles.
