Hughes said he likes prospect more than draft picks and he'll likely target teams with depth at a position of need for Montreal, knowing this Dallas makes sense because of their center depth. Like it or not Seguin's signed until '27 then Faksa and Hintz complete the team top 9 at this time and prospect wise they have Johnston, Stankoven, Dellandrea and Bourque. Lots of centers and Dellandrea might've been passed by others.

Trying to think outside the box here, too many times I saw Poolman for Armia is a done deal. Oilers would save 1.1M$ a year but get an extra year with Armia.

People are looking for depth at TDL, likely that one of Kulak or Wideman goes for a mid-late round pick.

People can complain as much as they want about how much they like Chiarot or not but top 4 defenders always come at a premium on TDL.
