Because Habs fans are notorious for over valuing their players. With every waking day, Chiarot's value goes up by 1 round and additional prospects.

Price has no trade value until he returns. Neither negative or positive. Montreal is under no pressure to move him at this time.
Seattle not selecting a player has nothing to do with their value. They didn't select dozens of players. Many of which are doing quite well.

Chytil and Lehkonen are both about what you expect to get from a player in the 20+ range in the 1st.
People tend to look at those picks/prospects as guaranteed top half of the roster players, but they often aren't NHL regulars either.
If you get someone better than those two players, that's a bonus, not an expectation.
