You should keep koskinen. If you make the playoffs, and with covid you need the depth. Leddy retained for yamamoto and a pick.

Oh i totally agree with you, Leddy isn't someone that Holland should be chasing. Leddy should be dealt to a team who's D is a little more solidified.

Is Yamamoto an NHL center? On Edmonton he hasn't played center much and that's understandable with the centers Edmonton has.

No, he’s also not someone Yzerman should be after. I’ve never been impressed with his play even in Bakersfield. Small wingers need to be dynamic.

Nothing enticing enough for Detroit to do that. Koskinen is a negative asset.

Detroit should be able to get a pick within the 15-35OA range for Leddy with retention.

I’m just looking to add a veteran LD. I think leddy is decent all round guy won’t shut things down or run a pp but he could provide 17-20 minutes of decent hockey. He’s not the best choice but reasonable for the cost to acquire. Doesn’t make sense to start spending high end assets yet so just adding bandaids. Holland has already made a couple trades with his former team seems likely that trend continues.
