Giroux doesn't get you a top 50 prospect.

I love it. Give up a first for risto then within the same year trade him for a 4th and continue to pay a large chunk of his salary. Well certainly going to see the gm dismantled from his job.

Wild overpaying for Giroux, Florida vastly underpaying for Risto

Well, in all fairness to the author…Chuck Fletcher IS a complete moron so it’s entirely plausible.

It's not even that bad, if one GM gave up a 1st, 2nd, and fringe player, one will give up a 4th at the TDL

Giving up a 4th and accepting it are two different things. Risto as a player is probably worth what Fletcher gave up, the difficulty was in the contract length.

But theres no way, IF philly moves him that they'd move him for a 4th, thats just ridiculous.
