I'll say that the forward depth looks insanely bad.

How can you compete with that against other contenders?

The TML’s paid Nick Ritchie $1.7MM this season, which is 4th line money, they play him 4th line minutes, and he produces 4th line numbers. Ottawa has enough 4th line players, they don’t need one that’s making $3.3MM next season. Ritchie isn’t going anywhere, not just Ottawa.
