that giroux trade might go down as the worst avs trade in history. rentals don't have that type of value.

Kulak is definitely available, I think habs would prefer at least a 4th to a 5th + Megna though.

COL going for it this year, the Giroux deal is light, maybe PHI adds their 1st instead of a 3rd

COL has Barron likely coming up next year, with a top 4 of Toews, Barron, Makar and Byram and will need cap space.

Giroux is a UFA, but he'd be a great deadline pickup as a PPG playmaker and really deepen that forward corps as COL goes for it, but its a light offer.

No maybe about it. It's light. Giroux is great but age, new contract etc all play into it.
