Girard would take more than we should be giving up for another LHD. We need to be patient with the LHD and focus on acquiring RHD to potentially replace Weber, Petry, and Savard within the next few years, so we have a stable core on both sides developing together.

Hes not readily available anymore. The new coach has him playing again and he has looked improved, even got on the scoresheet the other night. Currently it would be hard to say what a fair compensation is based on this but prior to him playing, the fair value was likely a 2nd + 3rd though I am glad that didn't happen as I feel his value is more than that once he is playing in a better system which he is now.

Good to know. I like him and hope he finds success again. If the new coach gives him that fresh start he needed, I could see him become a solid middle 6 forward.
