I still think Brannstrom has more value in a deal for a higher-end RHD. Paired with a first and maybe like a Connor Brown?

The problem with that thought experiment though is there really aren't any high-end RHD available these days. Ethan Bear would be a hell of a fit, but I doubt Carolina lets him free for anything.

I don't understand why everyone is so eager to give up on Brannstrom. Aren't he and Timothy Liljegren essentially on the same arc of development? Expecting them to make the immediate impact of a Makar or Hughes or Drysdale is both unrealistic and unfair.
