Dylan Strome doesnt make any sense for the Rangers since theyre likely to let Strome go at the end of the year.

If anything that makes more sense for them to get strome. He'd be a cheap replacement on the 2nd line for the other strome.

It seems management is vested in Chytil being the future 2C.

Dylan can slide to 3C. He just needs highly skilled wingers so a team like the rangers who are stacked on the wing should be a good fit for strome

Rangers are trying to trade the Strome they have I doubt they would want another one.

The third line doesnt have any "highly skilled" wingers. Furthermore Im a huge fan of Barron and think he will be the perfect 3C.

Not saying it's wrong but your plan is relying a lot on players reaching their ceilings. Strome would be a nice safety net if chytil or Barron don't improve. Also don't you have kreider, panarin and Laf as your top 3 LW's?

Its well known among Rangers people how I feel about Chytil, but so far hes started this season fairly well.

As far as Barron goes, hes played 23 games in total in the AHL, has 12 goals 11 assists. Hes also over 50% on faceoffs. I have faith in this kid.

I have yet to watch a rangers game this season so I'm not up to date with their players. Barron sounds like he might be a better option than chytil
