Bruins easily decline, I think Jake would do well with a change of scenery and would fit in Edmonton but they’d get better offers then that for him
Pass on Merzlikind at that price he’s a pending UFA without a extension that’s to much to pay, plus the retained salary on Koskinen
Why are we trading a LTIR contract and retaining salary makes zero sense, Klef doesn’t cost us anything, let him rehab all season and maybe he gives it a go in the playoffs but 95% chance his career is over
Coleman doesn’t want to play in Canada he’s a American
Yamamoto most likely is getting a bridge deal similar to Bears 2x2 he showed this yr that he might be better suited on the 3rd line, he’s going to have to greatly improve his shot and finish if he’s going to be a top 6 forward

    Wow lol

First, Boston doesn't need cap space to sign Hall as they currently have $30 million in space

Second, Lagesson is of zero value in this deal as Boston has enough young LHD

So really your offering Boston a pick that has a 15% chance of playing at least 100 games in the NHL.

Isn’t Lagesson a defenseman? Still a bad deal for Boston but…

Lagesson is a defenseman and wouldn’t even be a bad pickup, but this is not nearly enough for DeBrusk, especially when there isn’t as much cap pressure as you’d think

Boston has plenty of cap space.

And your title says you are filling needs. Well Boston is going to do the same and this fills zero needs for them. A d man that will play in the AHL for them and a pick that will never play in the NHL is a pretty useless return. Better off just keeping Debrusk.

Edmonton does not have the pieces to make a Debrusk trade work.

Exactly how I see it. Caleb Jones may be the only piece going back to Boston that a) makes sense b) Edmonton would be willing to deal. And even still he wouldn’t be the main piece of the return in a package for DeBrusk. Lavoie or a Second would be the balance

Sadly we are not giving up Elvis in a deal that has koskonen with zero retention apart of it. Unless it contains a player like yam, or bear on top of the first required to dump kosk.

Would rather Lavoie, don't have much confidence in Sweeney's drafting.
