I would hope Jersey would spend some $$$ on UFAs, even if just short term UFAs.
The other way is to trade for some LTIR. LTIR would add to the cap floor (if needed) though the team that has season long LTIRs aren't hurt cap wise with a LTIR player

A 2nd round pick and bellows to take on komarov and hickey. I wouldve only done 1 of them (2nd and leo or bellows and hickey) but that wouldnt give ypu 4 million.

Devils CEO Scott O'Neil resigned today. He was terrible. He focused more on the 76ers than the Devils. Right before he resigned from his role, he gave Fitz the "green light to go" and make some moves. I think Fitz goes semi-aggressive this offseason. The two ways the Devils can reach the cap floor are cap dumps and free agency.

Free agents that the Devils could be interested in are: Blake Coleman, Alec Martinez, Adam Larsson, Jamie Oleksiak, Johnathan Bernier, Freddie Andersen, etc
Cap dumps that make sense: Andrew Ladd, Leo Komarov, James Neal, Mikko Koskinen, Loui Erkisson
