I wouldn't say "way more" more like just different players. He really hasn't been good since his rookie season so there is some cause for concern with his development and how he's regressed instead of progressed. But Buffalo would likely be looking for high end prospects, Kadri would carry similar value to those prospects but just doesn't fit Buffalo's team or age group

He regressed. Blah blah blah all the BS reasons. It's still on the players to perform, regardless of who the coach is. The beta players find a way to get it done.

& I definitely wouldn't say he was "fine" immediately after Krueger was gone.

I thought his 2nd season was fine. First half of this season was a struggle but he turned it around and easily became the Sabres best defenseman. He’s not a generational talent like many claimed but I still see him as a true #1 defenseman in this league who can be a superstar still.

Krueger instituted a dump and chase offense despite having a team of puck carrying defensemen. He did not want defensemen carrying the puck thru the neutral zone past the red line. He neutered Dahlins game. Granato stopped that immediately and his game rebounded immediately.

Buffalo isn’t trading Rasmus Dahlin unless Cale Makar, or Alex Newhook and Bowen Byram are coming back the other way.
