I don't think ANA or Vegas make those trade, BUT I do think this is one of the better Seth Jones trades I've seen. Carlo is quality and Urho is a good prospect that CBJ should like to have/develop.

That Ducks deal is just so bad, and so is the Vegas one

Don’t think boston does this for a year of Seth jones.

They definitely don’t do that hot garbage Seattle trade. And you say you like the bruins? Sheesh.

I think he meant an extension would be involved...at least that's how I took it.

An extension could be worked out, but that’s not what they’re trading for. They’re trading for a year of Seth jones.

The Seattle and Columbus trades are bad for the Bruins, and the Anaheim trade doesn't really help either team.

Chandler Stephenson, as "light" as he is, is playing center in the top 6 for Las Vegas. Neither Kuhlman nor Cehlarik, who I see has now slipped onto your Reserve List, has ever (to my knowledge) been accused of being ready for top-6 minutes this coming season, let alone at center.

An extension for Jones would be required. Carlo is a RFA so it could be a sign and trade.

Vegas needs to free up some cap space this summer with the flat cap and the Bruins want some depth. Cehlarik had a very strong IIHF worlds and Kuhlman fits the PK role for Vegas. Not one that needs to be done as Kuhlman very well can stay but I like Stephenson.

Seattle is going to pillage some teams this offseason with trades just like Vegas. Bruins aren't going to escape that. With what the Bruins have and will leave unprotected I would look to try make sure they select DeBrusk as he no longer has a spot in Boston in my opinion. Zboril is a tough piece to lose but we are deep at LHD and he is going to be a RFA. Making sure they select Debrusk may just cost us a 5th but I think trades like this will cost more this summer.

Debrusk is going to be protected.

Bergeron, Marchand, Pastrnak, Coyle, Hall, Smith and Frederic are my protected. If you want to bring Krejci back then Smith likely gets exposed. Dont want to lose him. DeBrusk is a good kid, good potential but his time is up in Boston and I wish him luck. A lot of people said the same stuff around Donato and that trade but no one makes a peep about it now.

Hall doesn’t have to be protected. UFA. Same with krejci.

Seattle can select Hall and have the exclusive window to negotiate a deal with them before free agency opens. With a flat cap Seattle could offer a lucrative deal that would be too much for Hall to turn down. Seattle won't select Krejci based on his age but they sure would be interested in Hall. I don't want to see Hall leave Boston. This is where even if you don't select Hall you need to trade picks/players to make sure Seattle doesn't select him.

They sure can. Doesn’t seem like krejci or hall want to go there. Teams aren’t going to be protecting UFAs, they’ll work something out, and then sign them after the window.

I don’t think hall is leaving Boston lol, choosing ufa’s is too risky aswell unless they are choosing one from a bottom 15 team the if’s will most likely just go back to their original team. Especially hall, hall wants to win their is no guaranteed success in Seattle, everyone says they will have a top team with guys like graves dumba etc being on the roster but I would bet some big money they Colorado, Minnesota and other teams trade those players for assists to teams that have open slots so they don’t loose them for free
