No the condition would be if pick falls top in 2023 then the pick reverts to an unprotected 1st in 2024 or however the conditions are laid out. Could result in two 2nds (one in 2023 and one in 2024), etc based on the agreed upon terms. Rolling to the next year unprotected normally is the way it goes.

Seattle can select Hall and have the exclusive window to negotiate a deal with them before free agency opens. With a flat cap Seattle could offer a lucrative deal that would be too much for Hall to turn down. Seattle won't select Krejci based on his age but they sure would be interested in Hall. I don't want to see Hall leave Boston. This is where even if you don't select Hall you need to trade picks/players to make sure Seattle doesn't select him.

DeBrusk is a good kid, good potential but his time is up in Boston and I wish him luck. A lot of people said the same stuff around Donato and that trade but no one makes a peep about it now.

An extension for Jones would be required. Carlo is a RFA so it could be a sign and trade.

Vegas needs to free up some cap space this summer with the flat cap and the Bruins want some depth. Cehlarik had a very strong IIHF worlds and Kuhlman fits the PK role for Vegas. Not one that needs to be done as Kuhlman very well can stay but I like Stephenson.

Seattle is going to pillage some teams this offseason with trades just like Vegas. Bruins aren't going to escape that. With what the Bruins have and will leave unprotected I would look to try make sure they select DeBrusk as he no longer has a spot in Boston in my opinion. Zboril is a tough piece to lose but we are deep at LHD and he is going to be a RFA. Making sure they select Debrusk may just cost us a 5th but I think trades like this will cost more this summer.
