I'm trying to do an armchair GM revolving around this trade, but I'm not sure what else would be included, I'm terrible at making fair mock trades.

Honestly, just Garland (extended) and Chychrun for Marner and Rielly isn't bad considering the cost of Marner and it's just 1 year of Morgan.

Arizona might decline that but Toronto could work with it if it's close.

The only way Arizona is trading chychrun is for matthews. I like marner, great player, but if Arizona is giving up its most valuable asset it’s not going to be for a winger

See the above response. The point being made is there’s no match because Arizona doesn’t need a winger, they need a 1C. If Toronto were to get him the only match would be matthews, and since no one with a brain would trade matthews, there’s again, not a match.

The one thing that would make marner really appealing to the yotes is his contract and the high caliber player that comes with it.
Most of his contract was front loaded and ALOT has been paid out, so he's a large cap hit but low actual dollars left owing. Which is exactly what the yotes are looking for.

The Coyotes are about the last team you should go looking to send an 11M contract to.

I would agree, but most of his contract is paid off already. He's a high-skill player with a high cap hit, which can help them hit the cap floor, but has less actual money being paid to him, and that's exactly what the Coyotes are looking for.

Well, there's stil $34M left on that deal over the next four years, and the last two years have an NMC.

For one the leafs are not tradeing marner. Nylander would make sence if on of the big 4 toronto had to go but toronto would get more than just Chychrun.
