If your expecting big changes you will be very underwhelmed because
1. They were 4 points out
2. In a normal season they would have made the playoffs
3. If they had a healthy monahan and hanifin they would have made the playoffs
4. They want to see a full training camp under sutter, they just hired him they want to give him a chance before they blow it up
5. Management will blame it on the COVID season

Depends on the term. If it’s 7 or 8 I think it’s too long. I’m not all that interested in paying 8 to Gaudreau in his age 33 and 34 seasons

I could care less what they do but they aren’t winning a cup with the team they have. No one on that team truly stands out besides matthew tkatchuk because of his physical play. Monahan and gaudreau are too soft and wouldn’t compete against the the big beast in the east.

These are very fair points. But honestly I hope Calgary at least seriously considers a rebuild or retool. Los Angeles and Vancouver are both up and coming teams that should be much better next season. And it looks like the Oilers and Vegas are going to be the top teams in the Pacific for years to come. I just don't think they'll ever be a contender with their current top 6 centers
