Jack Campbell should win the masterton
Chychrun and Hedman over McAvoy and Theodore
Nedelkjovic over Sharangovich

There's pretty much nothing I can see wrong* with this. Great job.

*With one major exception, the Norris should (and almost certainly will) go to one of Hedman or Fox.

Might change my mind on some of these but I'm standing by my Norris list. I don't think Hedman should be nominated this season and I think Theodore is underrated.

I like most of it but there are a few goalies who could enter the Calder conversation. Nedeljkovic, Shesterkin, Lankinen, Sorokin

The only big thing I would change is Hedman for the Norris. I like most of the other picks, especially the Devils in the Calder race

I think Theodore should be the last finalist, I agree he's underrated, but I just don't think he's Norris level. He has less points, and pretty sure (I'm not good with defensive stats though so I could be completely out to lunch, correct me if I'm wrong) he's slightly less good defensively than Hedman and Fox.

Hedman has been legitimately average this season. People can't complain about players winning awards based on their name and then turn around and say Hedman deserves it this season.

To be fair, anyone who thinks Victor Hedman is an actual liability knows nothing about hockey. But I didn't realize how bad defensively he's been. Changed my mind, he should not win the Norris (he'll be a finalist though), I thought he was a lot better defensively.

However, when this article is talking about 7 other Norris candidates, Theodore isn't even one of them.
So saying Fox for Norris lines up with your article.

Should go to Fox. Will probly go to Hedman based on notoriety.

Why should it go to Fox when Makar has higher ppg, better shot share and better xG differential? Fox has had a nice season but if Makar were in NY his high lights would be on a loop on ESPN and he’d be a lock.

Makar also plays with MacKinnon line which helps all the numbers listed. Fox plays with lesser teammates and tougher opponents yet has a better 5v5 xGA.

If you wanna go all fancy stats Adam Pelech is probably the best defenseman but he doesn’t put up points.

Oh yeah because Panarin, Zibs and company are a bunch of scrubs get real. I’m not knocking Fox at all but imo (admittedly biased) Makar does things no other dman in the league does and by all means go all fancy stats where Makar’s CF is 59.6 Fox is 50.7, yeah Fox XG 20.1, but Makar’s is 19.2 and Makar’s xGD is almost 4 goals higher, throw in Fox’s PDO of 103.1 vs Makar’s 100.1 at the very least indicates this is sustainable for Makar not as much for Fox. Again Fox is definitely having a Norris caliber type year I just think it’s silly any time an Avs is doing something great it’s because he plays with MacKinnon. And for what it’s worth my top 3 this year are Theodore, Makar and Fox.

The stats literally proved it. Makar plays with the best teammates in the league. He’s in the 100 percentile in teammates on ice. You brought up all the fancy stats and are now mad about them lol. His competition is also only in the 73 percentile. Fox plays teammates in the 70 percentile and against competition in the 83 percentile.
