I think we'd retain 50% for just Lavoie and the first.

SHe is going to be exciting who the Sabres try to get in net next year when your goalie goes on the market. And I doubt Koski waives his no trade clause anyways.

We are going to at least try to sign Ullmark

Why would Ullmark want to resign in Buffalo, there’s a reason why we wants to test the market first decent offer hes bolting out of town, Buffalo would have to massively overpay to keep in.

He could be a guaranteed starter here & get a long term deal
That might not be the case for him with better teams that don’t wanna risk signing an injury prone goalie to a long term deal

Also.... u act like no one ever signs with bad teams
It literally happens all the time
It’s not like Ullmark is a top10 goalie
He’s an average goalie who get hurt EVERY year
Many teams won’t wanna take that risk

Overpay for Rakell.. maybe remove Lavoie. Underpay for Buffalo to take Koskinen, and I doubt they want Stalock unless it's for the farm. Most importantly there's no taxi squad next year, so you're way over the cap.
