You're right about Lafreniere. Maybe the Rangers have rushed him. Nylander and so many others didn't even play in the NHL in the season after they were drafted. But Lafreniere should look at a former first pick in the draft Taylor Hall, and see that he has just scored one goal this season and he's making 8m.

its not that hes rushed but who hes with. When Matthews came to Toronto he played on the third line yes but had Nylander and Hyman as line mates. Lafreniere does not have that luxury. Thats what I was worried about as the rangers had Panarin and Kreider and unless one was willing to move to RW Laf would be forced to play with 3rd liners and other than Chytil rangers really dont got any good ones.

As for Hall hes in Buffalo and the ironic thing is Buffalo is spending 33mill on a buch of guys and only 3 goals have come out of them (saw it in a tweet)

Yea, I hear that Leafs have spend too much money on there top four contracts.....I somewhat agree but rather have the Leafs situation, that 9m X 7 years Skinner, 6m X 2 Okposo and 8m X 1 Hall.

I think those are too many picks going to Toronto in the deal but in terms of the players you included, the value is right
