Big pass for the Kings even with the retention

This is the first time I have ever really checked out that Skinner contract... what on earth! He got a Mark Stone deal!

Kings would still pass but I think Skinner could be moveable with retained salary. It would probably still take a big sweetener though unless he starts to produce again.

Scoring 40 in a contract year will do that. I still think he's a 25-30 goal scorer. But poor lineup management and some poor luck has really affected him last year and a half

That skinner trade is super funny. Buffalo will need to retain 1/2 the salary and include at least a 1st and probably a good prospect to move him. How many years are left on if? 5 or 6 years? Just an ouch for Buffalo. I feel for the fans and org

We would have to pay a lot more to get rid of these Okposo and Skinner contracts.

The problem is he’s been bad in buffalo. And there’s no sign he’s going to get better. He should be scoring 40 goals annually for 9m a year. Instead of a 25 goal scorer who spiked one time and then dropped off big time. He’s going to be a cap space anchor for the remainder of his contract. I can’t picture any team taking on the contract unless they get like 3 1sts for it. I mean unless you think he’s going to get back up to value this season. 1 assist in 12 games so far looks like he’s fallen off the rails or has a major injury nobody knows about.
