It was like Yzerman tried to send him back to the minors (after he spent a year there already) after he came back from injury and he didn't like that so he wouldn't report. He eventually went, averaged a point a game, got recalled and was unbelievable, helped tampa get to the ECF and looked awesome in a middle 6 role. That helped his stock in the Sergachev trade

You know when Josh Anderson was put on his line I thought he'd play better. When he was playing well in tampa he played with Brian Boyle on his line and that helped give him space. He's never going to dangle his way out of a phone booth but if you give him space he'll make plays
