I haven't been following the news lately. Is there rumours of Marner going to CBJ? Cuz I'm seeing lots of these.

If Dubas did that he’d be done in seconds, absolute disaster

Most Marner trade proposals I see come from leaf fans or obvious troll accounts.

Yeah, and CBJ doesn't want to move on from Jones for an overpriced winger who relies on having superstar players around him for his success.

I love Nylander but I would rather keep Marner over him. Nylander is replaceable but Marner is not

Nylander for Jones is technically not fair for CBJ, but its the most i would give to get Jones tbh, Jones is overrated

No Marner trade is a good Marner trade.

They are correct, but I suspect Dubas won't be willing to trade one.

This is a good trade as long as Leafs add a pick or two, Leafs also get cap space for a couple years and easily top ten RIGHTY Dman. I’m sure everyone will be up in arms over it and especially from Toronas side. News flash!!!!Marner is not generational he is NOT top ten player or even top twenty in the league. ALTHOUGH in leaf land they seem to think he’s top five ffs...very good two way player and a hell of a passer but I could easily name twenty better players . You can’t say the same about Jones he’s top ten .

I agree, and even player compared to player, I would wager that Marner is a better/more valuable winger than Jones is as a defenseman.
