Description
Wild side of 3-way.
***Just the bases of trades balance with draft picks**
Wild send Hunt and Menell to Tampa and get Cirelli in return.
Wild send Talbot and Khovanov to Vegas in return Wild get M-A Fleury.
Dumba and Hartman both have value and should be movable for prospects and picks. Otherwise Wild have a bunch of contracts that should be movable, Guerin has done a good job of creating flexibility and one way or another he can make the cap work.
Probably look at all 3 ACGMs to make trades make sense.

Tampa trade: Hell yes but never by Tampa

Vegas trade: One of the worst trades I've ever seen.

Dumba trade: well I guess but I'd like to see what they get back.

Probably don't make 3 separate threads for one deal

TB gets next to nothing for Cirelli. Hunt is 7D/waiver fodder player, Menell is in the KHL for a couple years. Letting Cirelli walk on an OS for just a 2nd is a better deal for them. You've just signed Cirelli to a contract with a 1st and a 3rd if it was an OS. Send TB something of that value and they might listen, not a couple guys who might be worth a combined 3rd and a 5th.

Talbot isn't getting traded, he was just signed.

Not many teams around that could take $6m in cap from Dumba and not send anything back. Hartman at $2m is reasonable to be able to get rid of.

If you read the description you would see I feel that these trades could be balanced with picks also Dumba doesn't necessarily need to move Guerin has lot of flexibility in this roster so a number of different moves could be made. Lightning are ultimately getting Payton Krebs and Menell, Hunt is mostly a placeholder in this. Tampa isn't going to get full value but this allows them to sign Sergachev and Cernak. They will likely take a step back but in a few years could be very good again.

It’s pretty straight forward. Each team’s view of a 3 way deal. So people just aren’t good at reading/computing/understanding/etc....

Lots of thought, seems decent on the surface, Talbot would be happy to be handle a front row seat to the Stanley cup finals but maybe upset that he isn’t in the crease often. I’m sure there’s a few minor + that need to make it all work right.

Your description says nothing about Krebs. It just says picks to make things work. We're not talking about arguing over a 3rd going one way or another here, there is a significant add from MN and getting Cirelli. The roster has flexability on paper, but really nobody wants/needs most of what MN would make available. There are still way too many player unsigned that are similar to any of the moveable guys. Dumba isn't getting the return MN wants already, being forced to move him to make cap will just make that even lower (same argument you made for Cirelli).

MAF just kills the cap even more. I don't like the Talbot signing at all, but does adding $3.3m of MAF make much difference at all? MAF wasn't very good last year and isn't young enough to expect him to rebound. He might, but then again he might not; he does have about 1k games NHL played (including Playoffs) and not many goalies in history can say that. That's a big gamble to take.

I get that you're working with a rough idea, it's just too much needed to make everything work.

Read the description look at the other 2 ACGM's then get back to me. Tampa has cap problems Tampa isn't getting full value. The no one claiming Johnson on waivers proves that.

You didn't even link the other 2 teams. I'm too lazy to be looking for things, and would rather just comment on the thing that's in front of me now.

Make it simple and in the description and say:
Team A gives and gets: stuff.
Team B gives and gets: stuff.
Team C gives an gets: stuff.

trading an RFA isnt a cap move, youll get full value for an RFA lol. HUGE difference in trading someone thats almost 30 making 5m a year compared to a 23 year old center who is a RFA and finished 4th in selke voting (and had more 1st place votes than ROR who finished 3rd).
