Description

As more and more info comes out it seems less and less likely that Askarov will be taken in the top 10. This team; while still young need players that can help now. If that is the case I'd want to use it in a top 6 forward who either will be and rfa at the end of their current contract, or one that has term left (3+ yrs would be ideal). Below I will put some options of players I could see using the pick on, and there will be some reaches. FYI I'm just spitballing and I doubt any of these actually happen. I tried my best to give fair value but I'm probably way off on a lot of these trades.

Personally i want to keep the pick no matter what. The canes arent going to have a pick this early for awhile i would hope. Personally would love Lundell if he was still there at 13, if not Quinn and Jarvis would be great picks

It's hard to say whether Anaheim would accept only the first for Rakell, given the inflated price Pittsburgh paid for Kapanen and the fact that Rakell is better than Kapanen. But you're close.

Rakell would play RW for you guys. I don't know why CapFriendly includes the C accusation for him, any more than I know why CF thinks Kurtis MacDermid is a RD.

Deroit really isn't trading Mantha. That''s all you need to say. When you start naming players it would take to get Mantha, you are making it about value. When its really about Detroit liking Mantha and not wanting to trade him. Making it about value also gives the other team a much better platform to argue from and why open that door it you don't to?

Yeah i do not see detroit trading Mantha. I was just saying if they were to trade him that Necas is an unreasonable ask. Detroit needs more good players not less so trading your 2nd best player who is still young wouldn't make sense unless there was a big contract issue.
