Bennet is easily worth Nylander + in the minds of Flames fans.

The first two trades are not going to go over well. I am not sure the Tampa trade makes sense for either team and every Calgary fan thinks Bennet's playoff performance means he's a top 6 forward who's going to win the art ross next year.

Please, the Dermott Murphy swap might need a little more from TOR but other than that the trades are pretty fair imo

I dont see whats wrong with the Cernak trade.
He is exactly what the Leafs need and is an RFA and TB is facing a cap crunch so I dont see how that trade is unfair

The leafs need a two way defenceman worthy of playing with Rielly. This idea that we need a big tough stay at home defenceman is complete garbage. Nothing against Cernak, he's a decent player but he doesn't move the needle. With the way TO plays, the defence needs to be mobile and able to carry the puck.

He isn't worth a 1st. He's a 2nd pair RD. He's good, don't get me wrong but if your ask is a 1st then he just isn't going to move.

He can be either a 1st or 2nd pair RHD and for Toronto he will be playing 1st pair, For a young 6'4 right handed defensemen who's very good defensively that is rare.
If Murphy has more value than Kapanen, Murphy is definitely worth a 1st.

Literally the only trades we ever see are Freddy for Bennett, or Kerfoot for Bennett, and we've explained a million times why it wont happen. For a 10 game stretch in which you beat s broken Jets team and then lost to Dallas. Beyond that he's been a bottom 6 player. Literally any player can have a hot streak and valuing a guy from his outlier hot streak is just classic fan overreaction. Bennett will return to a 4C for a 20 game stretch and all will be forgotten
