I don't see Winnipeg having any interest in that deal. They're not going to move 5 years of Ehlers on a bargain contract for 2 years of Nurse especially when LD isn't a need for the Jets.

As said, to do an offer sheet you would need the Oilers own 2021 picks for it. The Oilers don't have their 2021 second, so couldn't make the offer.

If the Blues are open to moving Dunn then it will be done at the draft, so there won't be a chance to offer sheet. If he gets to RFA, they'll be comfortable matching anything reasonable.

Barrie couldn't handle a sheltered role this year, he gave up more than he got despite playing 3rd pairing comp and receiving the most O zone starts and fewest D zone starts of the top-6 in Toronto. I wouldn't give him 4 years OR $5M OR a top-4 job.

We've got 10 NHL-caliber D available to us right now (Jones, Z, Savard, Gavrikov, Murray, Kukan, Nutivaara, Harrington, Peeke, Carlsson), and we're likely to trade away from that, rather than adding to it. Nash would be available in a trade as part of a package for forward talent, or maybe for futures if we add forwards through other moves.
