You also seem to think that it demands and warrants 9th ova. That's a pretty extreme reach there, bud. I'm pretty damn certain that if you got a first for him it would most likely our 2021 1st or PIT's 2021 1st. If it was 9th ova it had better be a much better player than Wood, think someone you don't want to give up, then think of someone better than that, then you might be in the ballpark.

Additionally, Parise is still highly productive and a top six caliber player. He instantly becomes your best LW'er and yet you have him on your 3rd line. Why? He may very well be a cap dump, but he's a dump that's an upgrade for you, especially early on.

Finally, Parise has a NMC. What makes you think he'd waive just to go back to NJ? The entire reason he waived at the deadline was for the singular chance to go play for Lou in NY, which if I recall is why he left NJ in the first place, Lou's dismissal hit him hard and there was nothing keeping him there anymore.

Not trading 13OA for 1 year of Palmieri, even if dumping Niederreiter is part of it.
