Description
So hear me out. Bracco was the great offensive winger we had been waiting for (or had excess of) all of a sudden not making the team then disappears. always the plan. Nylander mark 2 dont worry we are fine

Columbus probably accepts... not sure Anderson signs but it’s either trade him for a 2nd or it’s an offersheet for a 2nd.

I think he could do a 1 year show me deal. Scores 15 goals and 20 assists. Than Dubas trades him for more value. It works depending on what he wants.

Or Dubas trades him for no value as he’s a UFA after 1 season? That’s not a good idea tbh.

Next season will be season 7 of NHL action.... he will be a UFA, he will also be 27 at that time.

From this site- What is an unrestricted free agent (UFA)?
A player becomes a free agent when their contract expires on July 1 after the last League Year of their contract. Any player who meets the following requirements becomes an unrestricted free agent (UFA):
Is 27 years of age on June 30 of the contract expiry year
Has seven (7) Accrued Seasons where an Accrued Season is earned when the player was on the clubs active roster for 40 Regular Season games (30 if the player is a goaltender). Games missed due to a hockey related injury will count towards an accrued season in the season of the injury, plus one additional season after the injury.

Not a chance ARI takes that deal. Kuemper was a TOP5 goalie this year and he's under a great deal.

That offer is complete garbage.

Just a boss seems to be a constant Debbie downer. oh but you are right. Great goal tenders get amazing returns. admitedly one less year but saving 3.5 mill that year. plus getting a second. what you think he is actually going to get. Not what he is worth but what he will get.

It's not about the return. The deal is that you just don't move goalies like Kuemper. Not for anything short of total overpayment - which won't happen for the reason you just mentioned, their trade value isn't that high.

Let’s start at the top

Canes-dubas shot that deal down already

Yotes- are cap strapped as well

Jackets- that Anderson contract is a hot mess

Sabres- ristolainen should be replacing nylander because he sure as **** can’t play defence.

Think he was referring to the way he is listed in the agm. When you sign a player the tag displays his status at time of signing rather than the expiry.

You'd have better fortune with Lorraine Bracco on your top line.

BUF declines. We dont need another LW. And Risto is one of the only physical players we have. You can talk **** all day about Ristos underlying numbers.... until you see him play night in and night out you don't understand his value. I'm not saying he's an all-star, but this guy eats minutes and you see more mistakes cause he's simple on the ice more than anyone. But this guy brings a lot to the table and he's usually the best player on the team most nights and doesnt get noticed a lot. And something no one ever talks about is how well he defends off man rushes. It seems like he's always going back to protect a 2 on 1 and i have never seen a player make the play more often then he does. I get it, he makes mistakes, he's use to carrying more on his shoulders then he should have had to at times, but I would not move Risto just due to the fact of what his underlying numbers show. He's more valuable then what most people think.
