I don't think the Jets would trade Scheifele for a winger they don't need, a defenseman they don't need and two firsts.

Cause by the time they rebuild this crappy defense Scheifele is almost 30, has a year or two left on his good value contract and is going to be looking for a massive raise with a lot of term that'll surely look ugly in no time, this isn't the deal to take for him but trading him this offseason and doing a short retool isn't the worst idea if they can get a really good center prospect plus some other good futures back.
