Couple of foolish plays, but that motherf*cker Charron should be barred from the sport for life... He did a terrible job in one of the most important games of the year.

I’m not really cheering for them, but the Bolts aren’t blowing a 3-1 lead. I’d expect them to close it off tomorrow.

Although even though I would rather the Stars win, I’d still be extremely happy with the Lightning finally getting over the hump.

Also, Vaseilesky now has an NHL record 17 playoff wins. Which I’d expect to be a record that will never be broken.

Predictions for tonight, anyone? Here are mine:

4-3 Tampa Bay
GWG - Anthony Cirelli makes it 4-2 at 05:47 of the 3rd
Conn Smythe - Victor Hedman
First Pass - Victor Hedman (or I guess Nikita Kucherov if he’s preoccupied with the Conn Smythe trophy)

So Stamkos plays or comes out to lift it. Hedman for the first pass for sure. Gonna be weird in an empty arena.

I’d assume that they’d bring Stamkos onto the ice to receive the Cup, like he came out onto the ice when they beat the Isles.

I think the weirdest parts will probably be after the team wins when the NHL is probably going to have to garble almost all the audio to cover up the swearing. It will also be super weird with a few seconds left before the game ends (although it might be less weird on TV with the crowd noise).

They haven’t in previous years though. It’s just that you can hear a bit less because of the voices of tens of thousands of people in the stands. And this year they actually have a delay where they’re able to block out any profanity.

You can still hear them cursing every year
