By the way, I think that anyone presenting "Best All-Time" lists like this should tell us what their time cut-off is. I'm old enough to have seen Larry Robinson play (live) -- and one of his very, very infrequent fights.

Nik Lidstrom is the best of all time and it's not close

I think Doug Harvey and Brad Park take out two of those players.

There are too many to limit it to 6! Robinson, Coffee and Blake are all better than Pronger and Stevens but both should also be considered and that's my point top 10 or 15 makes sense but not limiting it to 6

Harvey and Park in, Pronger and Stevens out. Potvin for Bourque, too

I tended to discount guys that only played in the original six era. I think the game was a lot less competitive then. I think I'd swap Potvin for Leetch before Bourque.
