As an Islander fan, how high are you on MDC? Is he someone that could crack the lineup next year permanently?

He was great in 18-19, but did absolutely nothing this season. Change of scenery might help, but I honestly don't think there's much there.

Howden has literally THE worst CF% and FF% of ALL forwards in the league with over 50 games. Buyer beware....

Jost would be a good fit for Ottawa. Young, very responsible defensively, good underlying stats, and has untapped offensive upside and may blossom on a team where he'd get an opportunity in the top 6 and PP. Ottawa also have an abundance of draft picks with which to acquire him (eg. 2nd + 3rd). Note that he'll cost in the region of $1.5m-$2m though, not $700k.

I'm not an Islanders fan but I see him as a 4th liner with 3red line upside.

Also I dont think Juolevi will be cheap and we already have a log jam at LHD unless we move Wolainen to get him .

Jost is an NHL player, but I have a feeling the ask is higher than he's worth. he's just a bottom six forward imo.

Juolievi has some NHL upside imo, but Sens can't really offer him any room given they have a left side of Chabot-Wolanin-Brannstrom-Borowiecki-Reilly-Lajoie-Alsing-Aspirot. There are just too many names, even for the AHL squad.

As for the others, I wouldn't give a pick for any of them. Bracco Is soft and doesn't play winning hockey, and allegedly a huge piece of ****. MDC is 24 and already half a decade into his pro career. If he was going to show anything he'd have done it. Howden is still young, and was pretty hyped a few years ago, but he was also one of the worst players in the league this year. Sens have plenty of bottom six C options that I just don't the need to bet on a guy like that.
