Yeah, but it was mothballed during the Pal Hal years, and I heard no one could find the playbook in 1993. Why Koharski was instructed to miss the Gretzky high stick on Gilmour.... not enough time to reinvent the wheel.😉

@palhal has been suffering longer than any leafs fan on this site. He deserves to see another cup (I assume he saw 67)

Nope. They don't. If ya don't know Lanny Mcdonald was a Leaf (hell, just know who Lanny McDonald is lol), Dan Daoust is more than a cool name, Alan Bester wasn't best, that 2 1st round draft pricks for Ken Wregget were pissed away..... and above all else Courtnall for Kordic, hard to sell me on being a true Leafs fan lmao!

My dad often tells me stories of the 67 win and how he won $50 bucks from grandpa. I hope Matthews, marner, tavares, rielly, and nylander can win a cup as it would make him so happy other than the fact he met them. With management now getting serious and not just being in it for the money ibelieve they can do it

I think Klingberg and Hintz would look dynamite on the Leafs, but I'm not sure trading one of the top centers in the game for that package is worth it (I think Matthews would require more than that package regardless). I would absolutely consider Marner, though I am not sure he receives the same package back. However, if they could get Klingberg, Hintz/Faska, a first AND cap relief? Deal!

I remember the 1962 Cup. My older sisters went to the Cup parade in 1963, and came across a picture of the Cup being held by George Armstrong. Just came across that picture a few weeks ago.
Last week I bought some take out by a restaurant down by the dock/lake. The owner has many signed sports pictures on the wall Included was a picture 1967 team. Each player was in a convertible by himself (and the driver). Huge crowds. Now I have given a hint on what town I live in. Can anyone figure it out.
Throughout the years. I'm amazed that the rich Leafs just couldn't be more successful on the ice. Well a series of bad owners, but more I think the biggest factor has been a whole whack of terrible GMs and team management in general. Even this management team headed by Shanahan has made some "fatal" mistakes. Hiring Babcock, keeping Babcock for so long. And despite having probably the most expensive management team ever, they let Dubas get duped in contract negotiations with the "big three." IMO the Leafs are further away from winning then they were 2018 playoffs.
Thanks for your empathy in thinking I "deserve to another cup." My mother is 98 years old. Don't know how much longer she wait for another Leaf Cup.

Any team with Kerfoot as their regular 2C can go ahead and plan tee times not parades.

I don’t think Dallas is interested in anything like that
