Every single one of these trades makes the Ducks progressively weaker.

So for three of our upcoming prospects (Jones, Morand and Steel, all of whom would be part of a proper "rebuild") plus a fourth, we get Athanasiou, a second, a third and a seventh?!??!

Bottom line: you traded six players (five of them regulars) and got back Palmieri, Athanasiou and two seconds.

Just an aside: reverse the dollar figures if Murray re-signs Djoos and Del Zotto.
