I dont this trade is as bad as it would seem, but pretty sure both teams pass. The only one the rangers should do is the strome one. The rest they pass on.

Probably fair for Ehlers but I still wouldn't do it, both Buchnevich and Deangelo will be looking for raises so with Laine and Pionk coming up soon it'd be too many guys all needing raises at the same time, Ehlers commitment to a team very few want to play for shouldn't be just tossed away lightly either.

I'd consider acquiring Buchnevich in a separate trade though that doesn't involve Ehlers, not sure what Buchnevich's value is though.

I have no horse in this race, just thought it would be interesting to compare the different players. Contract is one that I did not compare, and that is definitely something that should also be considered.

i would target connor over ehlers. especially if you are giving up ADA (5th most points by a defenseman), Buch (2nd line winger) and a pick.
