While I like the trade, I don't see how the Leafs can be cap compliant with UFA Muzzin and new contract to DeAngelo, Georgiev, Engvall Mikheyvov, and maybe a few others. Would probably have got another LHD

I am a big fan of Tony D and correct me if I am wrong Leafs fans but I would assume the team would prefer a more steady/stay at home D-man rather than another offensive minded D-man.

Intriguing, that kind of call surely wouldnt let me sleep at night....the question is, how will 2020/2021 look.....and Rielly still needs Hainsey to cover his D flaws,.....i wouldnt go for it tho, one Winger playing as D is more then enough in Team....

If DeAngelo commands Rasmuss Anderssons money ( so under 5M ) its doable.....

That's beyond awful for the Rangers.

Leafs shouldn't be in the market for a DeAngelo like defenseman. They already have Barrie, Rielly, Muzzin and soon to be Sandin who are powerplay 1&2 specialists. They really, really need someone who can play in their own zone and work 20+ minutes a night and kill PK's (Yes Ceci is currently doing that but he is far from ideal).



With the season he's having you might be looking at about 6M
