DET trade - terrible for Wings. AA is better and he's also RFA. Galchenyuk sucks and he's pending UFA. 0 reasons for them to even consider.

MIN trade - PIT is the more likely one to decline this. Bjugstad brings size and physicality, Rask brings pretty much nothing.

VGK trade - easy no. Johnson's contract is terrible due to it's term. PIT needs to pay to move it, they're not gaining assets in exchange.

His play now is better than most teams 2LD.
The length has nothing to do with it. He's a stay at home guy and is a good skater. He easily has another 2 years in him. It takes a long time for the wheels to fall off a stay at home guy who can skate well. Just look at Hainsey. The length isn't the issue on his contract.
The only real issue is he is best suited for a 3LD role, and it's about 1 million too much on that role. But what you get is a better 3LD than what most people have for it and a guy capable of playing in a 2LD role. But not someone you ideally want to leave there.
His contract isn't hard to move,
