Unless anaheim is ok to trade lindholm Montreal aren’t interested in trading domi for fowler. Even with ritchie and a third its not enough. Fowler have never really live up to is rookie season expectations. He is a good defenseman but not What montreal are looking for if they trade domi.

I actually like this trade for the Habs. Think it should be a 2nd which would be like a late.

He’s on pace to break those career bests. He’s already got 9 goals. On pace for about 40 points.

Lol... where did this come from? "Never really live up to is rookie season expectations"... wtf you talking about bro? Sure, Fowler didn't become Neidermayer 2.0 we all dreamed he would, but he's had a fine career so far. Anyway, he's what? 10 years removed from his draft year now. I think we can all let go that he never met exceptions and just value him for what he is today. Fowler is comfortably a #3 on our team, but could very well be used a complimentary #2 alongside an elite #1. Seriously, whenever I think of who Fowler's ideal partner could have been, it's Weber. Sadly, he's a little long in the tooth now.

In terms of the trade, I don't rate Domi all that high. He had a good season last year, but I suspect that ends up being the best of his career. I wouldn't decimate our left side for him, that's for sure.

Seeing as MTL is sort of rebuilding, I don't think trading a 24 year old Domi for a 28 year old Fowler makes a whole lot of sense.

That's fair. Certainly a better reason for turning down the deal than the crap that Sebybbq17 was spouting. "Never lived up to rookie season 10 years ago".... haahahahaha.

Wow you’re a smart guy’s. When a player enter the league as a rookie and established himself as a good offensive defenseman you expect him to increase is play. That how it work in nhl, so yes he haven’t live up to expectations. Like galchenyuk, or andrew raycroft.

Montreal rejects. Don't think Fowler fits into our age group. By the time we are ready to compete, he will be in his very late 20's/early 30's.

Fowler is a good player and your second best defenseman with a huge gulf between himself and Manson. However this trade doesn't make sense for Montreal because they are looking at getting younger if they move on from Domi and other vets. Fowler is too old. 28 is the end of his prime and Montreal won't be contenders for a while.

Lol... "I don't want that guy because he didn't meet expectations". This is hilarious coming from a fan of a team that has Drouin on it.

Do i trade drouin for a top players, there the difference between u and me. I can evaluate properly players with or without my club. I am nlt trying to sell to the whole world fantasy thought about how good he is when everyone know exactly what it about. You can’t face that fowler is just a average defenseman that won’t bring any special player back. Grownup and be a man once in your life.
