Im not saying this trade is great but untouchable cant be right, WPG is flooded with winger depth and really need to upgrade their Defense and 2C. Connor and Laine are much stronger players then Ehlers but Ehlers is more well rounded

No, I think because of Ehlers solid 2-way game and the deal he currently sits on, I think he holds more value.

If Chevy I`d trade for Miller not Risto. If Buffalo wants to trade Risto then to Anaheim for Kase or better Rakell.

But any team trading for Risto would also think he has a strong 2way game & also has a good contract

Plus he’s a RH defenseman, which is the most valued position in the league, VS a winger, which is the least valued position

And the Jets have to be desperate for a RH defenseman right now with losing Trouba, Myers & now it looks like Buff as well

I could definitely see a Risto for Ehlers trade making sense for both teams
