Nylander/1st/ and one of the d men other than Gardiner is about the value. Does not mean Blues would do it. Just becsuse you offer a fair package does not mean the other team would take it or that it is a good trade.

I agree it's not like nylander 1st and a dman isn't fair its just armstrong wants more in a deal. but stl and tor aren't good trading buddies because they have equal value but what parayko means to the blues and at his contract is worth more than nylander wanting 8M

If Dubas made that offer for Pietrangelo he should be fired on the spot. If Nylander does go for a D-man like Petro the deal will be the standard Nylamder, high prospect type(Bracco) and a first. The notion that the Leafs give up both Dermott and Liljegren is beyond silly!

What im telling ppl here all the time....when cup crunch or the contract that will create it is incoming, teams are trading for what they can afford and will be able to pay, not what they wish and what player conter-weight in other players is....
