With the recent news that there will be a mini-election to add two new BOG members, I have decided I would like to contribute to the game by running again for my old spot in the BOG.

I can assure you there won’t be any Crosby-for-Yakupov nonsense, or MartyBrodeur nonsense, or all that DirtyDangles stuff...you get the point. Just look at krak, hes been a great BOG since coming off the MatthewsMarnerNylander saga! (sorry to pick you out krak)

With my prior BOG experience in v1 and playing a big role in a lot that was occurring during that version of the game, I know I’m fit for the job. I’m also sure the other candidates are very good and wish them the best of luck

The BOG is a thankless position. We should be grateful for the group that we currently have, as they have created a doc for preliminary scoring, have reversed a trade with potentially more coming and I dont see any new people stepping up for the job.

Was it wrong to kick Brett and Kayla from the BOG potentially.
But I can give a list of reasons as why 1 of those 2 names shouldnt be on the BOG and the other I'm neutral on the firing as I'm not sure as to what they contributed, or what they did not. Either way the current group has contributed a lot to the success of the game.

I would personally like to thank AK and whoever else contributed to the doc. I would also like an in depth explanation as to what to do monthly when it comes to the input of players. When you have time. Doesnt have to be ASAP

@jmac490 I will provide a Google sheet template that each gm will make a copy of and complete and send back to me (twitter or email) at the end of each month. All it will consist of is a list of 23 players that were on the team on the 20th day of the month, but I prefer we use the formatted template so it's easier for me to transfer the data to the big sheet. Spelling should match corsica.hockey (in some cases it is wacky, e.g. "T J..Oshie"). Then the BOG will QA the scoring sheet and we will publish the rankings for GMs to see/validate. Simple as that. I'll drop some instructions for this in the scoring thread in October. Sound good?

I guess it's not just a Max thing ... it's an Oilers thing.

I have a question: have any players been offer sheeted this year in the GM Game? In real life they never do but has the GM Game not had any offer sheets this offseason? If not, that just says they're 100% done

Not sure, if we were ever allowed. Just do to people being able to resign all their RFAs, without a problem.
