Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Moves made to put an emphasis on team defense which is Claude Julien's motto. Some good players come in, but nothing outrageous imo. They go after Hornqvist in Free Agency because of how hard he plays. They give Nash a shot on a short term deal. Alzner gets a chance at the top pair next season, but if he craps his pants again he's quickly moved to the #6 and Fleury and Carlsson both move up a slot. Benn and Morrow provide excellent depth. They could probably use another 4th liner or 2 but I've already signed a bunch of guys so I don't want this to be too much to take in.

CBJ is 28th in goals per game. Pacioretty would score a lot on team with more talent.

Montreal needs to build a more defensive roster. Claude Julien thrives with shutdown defensemen and having Fleury as well as already acquiring Gabriel Carlsson, could turn this squad around. They won't pull a full rebuild or else they'd be detached from their winning tradition, so they retool with some young players who fill needs.

Montreal has put Galchenyuk in the doghouse most of his career, but Carolina would love to have him scoring for them at C. They move their least important LHD (who still looks very good) for him in a 1 for 1.

I think Paul Byron can do better than that in a trade. I'm not saying he's getting us a first round pick, but I think he can do better than this.

Haydn Fleury isn't what we need. we need. He's a good d-man, just not a fit with us. We need to get more mobile. Alzner, Benn, Weber, Shclemko, Morrow... I think CAR would be interested in Galchenyuk, I just don't think Fleury is the right piece coming back to us that makes sense.

I don't see how CLB would trade for Pacioretty after Torts basically said he wasn't good enough at the world cup.

I’ve said all along Caolina should be pushing for Chucky. I think it should be expanded though. Chucky-Lindgren for Bean, Gauthier, 3rd. If they want Fleury in place of Bean thay can.

I would do something for Jake Bean instead of Fleury. Don't know if CAR would, but I'd look into that one.

Overall pretty good bud! I think Chucky gets a little more than just Fleury and I'm not sure that the deal I'd go for Pacioretty but overall its nicely done. As for the UFA's, not sure I'd bring on all those guys if we trade out Chucky and Patches. That will almost certainly trigger a retool/rebuild to say the least.
