Buffalo passes. Sammy would clear waivers. I think the pick is going in the wrong direction.
Nashville passes. Not enough for Lauzon. Add a 3rd? (I would like to keep Timmins also)
Arizona passes. They really like McBain. he is young and big. They paid a 2nd for him. I assume they don't trade him unless they get a 1st back.

Nashville says no because Lauzon leads all defensemen in hits, whereas Timmins has missed significant time from injuries every single year since he was drafted in 2017. Over 25% of the games he’s played since he was drafted were the following year in the OHL.
Arizona says no because McBain is an interesting young player and the Coyotes already have 8-9 picks before Toronto’s fourth.

As a Leaf fan, I wouldn't mind the Nashville trade, but the Leafs are better adding NHL Dmen numbers instead of doing a one for one switch. Maybe the Preds don't like the trade either.
Young NHLer with controllable years ...McBain.....surely would get more in a trade even if Arizona was interested.

NSH isn't going to sell Lauzon for pennies on the dollar, when he's finally showing what Poile initially saw in him.

No thanks on Timmins, in any deal. NSH doesn't need him.
