I don’t think any team other than Buffalo really values this draft. To put it in perspective if Bowen Bryan was draft eligible this season with the exact same stats he had in his draft eligible year easily he’s 1OA

you don’t trade an elite prospect that looks good at the nhl level so far and projects as a high end top pair guy for a pretty good prospect that projects as a 2nd line guy (the type of player available at 8oa) and a collection of mediocre players

In no way is Byram better than Turcotte,he's been pretty underwhelming to be honest,Colorado can get Guenther to play with Newhook at 8,or Edvinsson to replace Byram,they already have Makar and Girard as top end offensive defensemen,Clague is decent,Lemieux and Maatta add depth that Colorado lacks,taking back 6 mil of dead money when you have to sign Makar and Landy is good enough to consider this deal for Colorado.
