a 22 year old #1 center who really elevated his game past playoffs is a pretty damn nice return
one thing people overlook with PLD is how Columbus was set up, they didnt has any secondary scoring.. thats the reason they stated when they traded for Domi, so every time the opposing teams best top/shutdown line were focused on his line, maybe I'm just overthinking it don't know...... time will tell

tbh this kinda reminds me bout the Trouba situation, everybody was saying the jets utterly lost the trade right from the get go (worked out nicely for us since then)

Personally think ull thrive in the Eastern Conference, Columbus got a really special player, guaranteed the Central division is pretty happy (especially Dallas) pure snipers r pretty frustrating to play against but now guess the Metropolitan has those issues

overall honestly think we got better, not for this season but in the long run. Center is the most important position in hockey and was our weakest position a year ago but now its our strongest.. better built for the playoffs as well

both teams win, they both had disgruntled star players who wanted out and managed to get another star player back
