<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Victor24</b></div><div>How is Sanheim worth more than a 1st? I haven't watched him play but his advanced stats are fairly mediocre. He's around 150th in the league in most categories. And he just signed a big contract. He'd better get much better to justify the money. To me is a piece, not a centerpiece. Same goes for Farabee.

Debrincat went for an A+ prospect (6 overall), an A prospect (37 overall) and a 3rd. He was a 6MM soon to be RFA. Keller is signed for 5 more years are 7MM. That's a steal. So if Brink is an A prospect, you need to add an A+ with it just to make Debrincat.

Farabee and Sanheim would probably be close to that A+ prospect (a little less IMO) but again, you need more due to his great contract. So yeah, another 1st, maybe 2.</div></div>

Yeah, and how did that Debrincat trade pan out? he's certainly not worth that now.

Sanheim however is a top 4 dman who is just now entering his prime. His numbers last year I think can be attributed to playing in his 3rd system in 4 years, and a very demanding one when it comes to Torts. I think people who watch philly or get to watch them in our division, see his talent. It seemed that he put it all together last year, but took a step back this year. I expect him to revert back to his progression trends from 19-20 to 21-22. I think league wide he is viewed as certainly who is worth more than a 1st. A 1st and a high level prospect for sure. In a few years, his cap hit will be less and less of an issue, and if he does revert back to that trend, he is a steal at that cap hit. meaning, he would revert to a borderline top pairing dman but certainly a top 3.

And Farabee would also certainly fetch more than a 1st. First, he's only 23. He is coming off an injury he sustained in the middle of his summer training regimen and rushed back to be able to play in game 1 of the regular season with a VERY abbreviated training camp and no preseason games. He was clearly hampered by that but still managed to play all 82. he did take a step back points wise, but his defensive game was great, he really added a good element there under Torts. Getting his offensive game back, and he certainly is a guy capable of putting up 30 goals, again, would be a steal for someone.

Clayton Keller is not worth those two roster players, Brink, AND another 1 or 2 firsts. Just isn't. As I said, asinine.
