He produced 70% of his (counting stats) production 1 time and he will cost 25% for one year
If you think that's fair game then skinner for aho 1 for 1 based on last year's production

Holl won't pair with Muzzin again. I would wager he plays 3rd pair with Gio or they try him with Rielly which strangely they never have.

Probably one of the most reasonable posts I have seen in a while. Can’t see any reason Sandin is signed for anything but his QO. Which is great for the Leafs cap situation.
Is Milano worth that at this point however? Is Motte that low? Or are the Rangers just delaying the signing?

Could offer a third at most for Kerfoot. Canes don’t need him and Leafs don’t have much leverage.

I kinda think the Leafs could get more for Marner,,,if they are taking on 9.5m in cap, and think it might be overpay for what might be two years of DeBrincat. Hey, like the thought.

That Marner trade makes 0 sense for Toronto in terms of value.
Fabbri - Middle 6 Winger
Hronek - 3rd/4th defensemen on Toronto
2nd round pick - Not much to Toronto
This is not at all enough for Marner. As much as wings fans wouldn’t wanna hear this, a Marner trade starts with Raymond/Seider which makes no sense for the Wings at this time.

Possible deadline deals
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Cauchi19</b></div><div>I could see the Leafs having interest in Brassard, but they'd want Braun with the retention instead of Yandle if they are making this deal.
I could see EDM being the spot for Marty Jones, with a larger return than what you're getting from COL here, especially is PHI is to retain and/or take back the Koskinen contract for the rest of this year.
Giroux trade probably nets you a 1st if you're retiaining that much salary.
Speaking of retention, a team can only retain on 2 contracts max, so you'd need to probably go with taking back Koskinen to maxmize returns on these 3 deals.</div></div>
Good points, pretty sure you're allowed three retention spots.
And yes, TOR probably wants Braun more than Yandle, BUT IMO breaking up brassard and braun nets PHI more. I think Braun and retention gets a 2nd and Brassard a 3rd seperately... Yandle is a nice vet for 7th, and brings some offense, which TOR is only getting from Reilly this season. But pretty cheap, veteran depth.
If EDM offered that deal before COL, I expect PHI take it.
As far as Giroux, I didn;t go for a 1st but two low round 2nds, because they're getting TWO good prospects from NYR, (and NYR doesn;t need the retention).
But overall thanks, good points made.

Revisiting the Manson trade plus Lekhonen and more
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mauston_atthews</b></div><div>If the leafs are gonna make a Manson trade, although it’s an overpay imo, it needs to include a 1st or some larger asset. There’s gonna be a big bidding war for him and a 1st would likely need to be included if that’s the case, especially with half retention. Also, I’d prefer dermott going the other way. Holl is more experienced, better, more physical, and reliable. He also has chemistry with Muzzin that I’m sure will come back in some form sooner rather than later this season. Dermott drowns outside of the third pair.</div></div>
Ding, ding, ding! You hit the nail on the head.
As a Ducks fan, I agree that it'll likely take an overpay to get him. I don't think you should move Holl, and I don't really see 1 year of him being of much value to Anaheim right now anyway, given that they're *hopefully* planning the long game when it comes to continuing to build this roster.
Dermott isn't exactly a fit, but I could see him being included to then flip in the offseason. Again, I acknowledge that Holl>Dermott.
Think I saw something along the lines of 2022 1st+Dermott+Hollowell (I'd prefer Willy Villy though!) yesterday, that seems reasonable enough to me. That being said, I could see two other scenarios playing out:
-Ducks extend Manson (He provides a great buffer for Drysdale).
-Someone else comes along (Lookin' at you, Tampa!) and offers up a better package.
Again, as a Ducks fan, I recognize that Manson is overvalued (or undervalued) on this site...there's rarely anything in the middle. A Manson deal *NEEDS* to make sense for Anaheim though.
Muzzin/Manson combo would be pretty interesting!

Not a popular opinion on this site. But in the real world the 20 + min a night big body penalty kill dman is significantly more valuable than the turnover can only play the neutral zone 13 min a night dman.

Oh, the love for other teams players shows no boundary.
Mrzarek actually has better numbers than Georgiev this season.
Right now, Mikheyev is playing very well....probably better than Strome
Holl playing 20minutes of hard minutes on a good team, is Manson THAT much better?
So the Leafs, give up a first, two seconds, Amirov and Robertson (and negative value Ritchie) for no improvement this year.:shakehead
