Couple things I'd like v3 to mirror in terms of real life....

Salary cap: if real life moves to $80M then our game should match that

Waivers: should also match the time frame as real life. That means the cut off time for claims should end at 3pm EST everyday. We could alter the time a bit to fit into everyone's life schedule, so maybe 9pm EST in game.
But essentially it should be a 24 hour time period.

Remember, these are just suggestions.

Were not so sure yet on logistics; ideally we get fans to run their team (i.e @matt59 --> CBJ). However, we don't have 31/31 different fans. Some of it will be based on who wants what and then go from there.

Make us make a list of our top 5 favorite teams and we can work it out like that?

Would we be able to send our lists for draft if we are not going to be here. And its 7 rounds right

As a Canucks fan I think you’re offering some fair value there, but like TML Sage mentioned, the Canucks would prefer one good young prospect or high pick most likely. I think if the Rangers are interested in him there could be a deal to be made though. The Canucks would be smart to retain 50% salary for two years on Tanev to increase the value of the return too.

This is just a suggestion.....for those of us who have already committed to v3 and you have a fairly good list of us so far, why not just let us pick our team now? OR throw up a post for all of us in v2 and set a drop dead date of 10pm EST May 1st. Then you'll have reached out to all 31 of us in v2 and we can pick teams May 2nd. Those who respond late will have to choose a team from whatever remains.

Or for v3 everyone could get the rights to whichever v2 team they are (except with the rosters and picks reset), and then there could be a few days where you could "trade" teams with other GMs, and then the teams would have to be set by a certain date (maybe a few days before June 1). Just an idea.
