I have a December deal in place for that young, waiver-exempt dman I wanted. Accordingly, I now want ONE of the following:

- A mobile bottom-pairing dman who's better than John Moore
- A defensive bottom-pairing dman who's better than Marc Staal

Having these two guys together on the bottom pairing is a disaster waiting to happen. I need one to be upgraded.

Would Marincin appeal to you? I know hes currently in the AHL, but he would be a great #6 guy

Nope. He's better analytically than Staal but fails the eyetest just as much. Moreover, I need someone who's getting NHL playing time.
